Description:
The SGNFA60X salvage magnet is used for general holding applications. The magnet does NOT come with a hard black base and and is more susceptible to rusting**. As such, it is not more suitable for general purpose applications only and not for diving.  Comes with eyenut for easy clipping of carabiner for tools. *Pull Off Force value stated is based on our test conditions. Different scenarios and conditions will result in different results. Our tensile test conditions: 1) Pull force applied is perpendicular to surface (pulled vertically) 2) Pulled at low speeds - <60mm/min 3) Material used: 2-inch thick, large, flat ground steel plate.

**This is a neodymium pot fishing magnets which is nickel coated and will rust more easily. Our (X) versions feature stronger magnetism compared to normal fishing pot magnets in the market. Magnet should generally be used in dry conditions. For usage of magnet in water, preferably for shorter durations, magnet should be cleaned and dried and stored in dry conditions. 
For Diving Magnets, please check out our SGMM series which features magnets with a special hard black coating. While the special hard black coating serves to prolong the magnet's usage, please note that post-dive maintenance is still required to extend the magnet's usability. The magnet is not 100% rust resistance / rust proof. The waterproof qualities / durability / usability period will vary based on use conditions, application and maintenance.
