Description:
The SGMM78A diving magnet is used for medium duty works. Features a hard black base to prolong durability of magnet**. The hard black base enables added rust resistance against saltwater / seawater compared to normal magnets. Comes with eyenut for easy clipping of carabiner for both diver and tools. *Pull Off Force value stated is based on our test conditions. Different scenarios and conditions will result in different results. Our tensile test conditions: 1) Pull force applied is perpendicular to surface (pulled vertically) 2) Pulled at low speeds - <60mm/min 3) Material used: 2-inch thick, large, flat ground steel plate.

**Normal neodymium pot fishing magnets are are usually nickel coated will rust easily. While the special hard black base coating serves to prolong the magnet's usage, please note that post-dive maintenance is still required to extend the magnet's usability. The magnet is not 100% rust resistance / rust proof. The waterproof qualities / durability / usability period will vary based on use conditions, application and maintenance.
